Aero-acoustic projects
pioneerSOLUTIONS has developed an aero-acoustic approach for accurately predicting the noise level generated by HVAC blowers and axial fans. It is based on a two steps procedure calculating first the aerodynamic sources of noise through CFD, followed by an acoustic computation that is made by Actran/LA. To achieve precise results for blower problems also requires to use the variational formulation of Lighthill’s analogy. Learn more here.
